Where to relax in England

Spa resort “Bath” (UK), is one of the most popular balneotherapy resorts in the world. Residents of the county of Somersetshire are content with its location, not far from the southwest near Bristol on the Avon River, and in the north and east of the resort there are hills, which are its kind of protection. The climate is distinguished by its seaside softness, the presence of frequent rains, with an average annual air temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.“Bat” is known for its natural healing thermal springs, the water temperature of which is from 45 to 49 degrees Celsius. So, three sources, in which radon, sulfate-calcium and hydrogen sulfide-magnesium water is present, have a depth of 2.5 kilometers, and serve as an excellent drinking treatment, as well as for recreational bathing, effectively relieving people of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Even the ancient Romans knew about the healing properties of this Bata mineral water. They also founded the settlement Aque Sulis (Akve-Sulis) here in the year 43 AD, creating therms here in order to take mineral baths. By the way, one can still admire their remnants here and think that the people of antiquity were not so “ancient” using this miracle of nature for healing purposes. But the city is full of archaeological evidence that even in the VIII century BC there were also baths. In the time of the Romans, the name of the city was Sulis (that was the name of the Celtic goddess of hot springs). In the period of the XII century, these places were famous royal baths, and the period of the XVIII century fell on the period of creating elegance and secular gloss, which were organized here by John Nash, to attract elite sources in the form of the English aristocracy. They were famous writers, artists and politicians of those times. The attraction of these places is the Abbey Church, which was built in the 16th century AD in the style of Gothic buildings with perpendicular shapes.

To visit this resort, those who wish are attracted to the spa industry, which is developing widely throughout the world today. The beauty farm created here, thanks to its healing springs in the best traditions of England to visit, including wellness centers that promote chic relaxation, attracts here with the philosophy of health of everyone who wants to feel forever young and healthy. By the way, 1994 was the year in which the British balneologists, when studying the healing effects of these healing sources, began to widely recommend spa treatments to everyone who requires this recovery. And February 2003 was the year of Bata’s second birth, because after so many centuries there was the opening of a luxurious thermal complex, which was built taking into account all modern comfortable conditions.
